Patrick Swayze Goes Home To Die

It has been a rocky road for Patrick Swayze since his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer back in 2008. This past year he received treatments at Cedars Sinai Hospital and he has shown both improvements as well as setbacks. Here recently, he is looking more frail and needing the use of a wheelchair more. Swayze has recently experienced a mild heart attack and has been suffering from an intestinal infection as his body moves through this disease.

Swayze has recently reported that he has gone home to die. Many are saying the actor refuses to die within a hospital and has told his wife he just wants to be home. His bodily functions are beginning to shut down and he wants to be at home in his own bed. He is afraid to be admitted into the hospital thinking that he may not come out alive.

During his entire battle with cancer, Swayze has been optimistic, upbeat and brave. He has already beaten the statistics of living through one year with his cancer. Patients with this type of cancer typically only survive 6 months after diagnosis.

Swayze’s long time wife, Lisa Noemi, has been by him through his entire fight and the two of them seem to be accepting the end for him. To keep up his rugged cowboy look, he wears a cowboy hat as a sign of his strong will to fight. Patrick Swayze he is a fighter and determined not to give up.
