Ashley Greene is perhaps best known for her role as Alice Cullen in the movie “Twilight”. The role has earned her thousands of fans and some awards. She’s also been linked romantically with star Chace Crawford. But now, Ashley Greene nude photos that have leaked online are getting her a different kind of attention that quite a few other young celebrity women have endured before her.

The latest winner of the Nickelodeon Teen Choice “Choice Fresh Face Female” award, Greene is 22 years of age, so the photos in and of themselves are not illegal simply due to her age. However, Greene and her lawyers assert that the photos are being illegally displayed and distributed online without her consent. Greene’s lawyers have released a statement confirming that the photos do in fact appear to depict the “Twilight” actress, and warning that any site or person featuring or distributing the Ashley Greene nude photos will have legal action taken against them. The photos in question are said to include at least one full-frontal shot, and Greene’s lawyers claim she alone holds the copyright to them.

While her lawyers deal with the Ashley Greene nude photos, the actress herself is currently filming the third “Twilight” movie, “Eclipse”. She will next be seen onscreen in the second “Twilight” movie, “New Moon”, which is set for release in US theaters on November 20, 2009.
