Last week, reports trickled in that claimed that 56 year old star, Patrick Swayze had suffered from a heart attack.

It appears these rumors are blatantly false, as Swayze himself has publicly denied it, and said also that he is doing very well at the moment.

Swayze is currently battling with pancreatic cancer, a type of cancer known to have a very low survival rate. Normally, a person diagnosed with this cancer will fall victim to it around a year in, almost certainly dieing.

Swayze on the other hand has been fighting it for a total of 18 months and thankfully getting better! A representative for Swayze has stated that he was feeling very well, and getting better in his battle with cancer.

Patrick himself slammed these rumors of a heart attack as false, showing media and the world that he is still a very capable person on his own, and getting better all the time.

These rumors arrived a few days ago following a rough month in which several media and Hollywood personalities passed away, including Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays, and Walter Cronkite.

Also rumored to have died in the last few weeks but still very much alive are Jeff Goldblum (supposedly falling to his death) and Harrison Ford.
