Jon Gosselin allegedly proposes to his new girlfriend

Rumor has it Jon Gosselin will be adding one more member to the continuing drama of the “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ reality t.v. show. Sources indicate that Jon Gosselin has proposed to his young girlfriend, 22 year old Hailey Glassman. This surprising development comes less than one month after separating from his wife and mother of his eight children, Kate Gosselin.

Jon’s alleged fiancé, Hailey Glassman, was seen flaunting an expensive engagement ring while the couple vacationed in St. Tropez on July 12. The unique ring is far from your standard engagement ring, and features a skull surrounded by four black diamonds. It is reported that the engagement ring carried a hefty price tag of a whopping $ 180,000, and was designed by ring designer Edouard Nahum.

The couple was spotted returning from a French vacation at JFK Airport yesterday, and John was asked to comment on the news of the recent engagement. Jon stated that he was not allowed to discuss the rumor, or comment on the relationship at all, and said, “I don’t want to get in trouble.” When asked what his wife thinks of the news of his engagement, he simply said, “I guess you’d have to ask Kate.”

In other Gosselin news, Jon has finally settled into his new apartment.  According to “People,” The reality TV star has been living in the Alexandria building located on the Upper West Side of NYC since June 2.

The Gosselins still have 34 episodes left to shoot for the TLC reality show, which leaves many wondering how Hailey Glassman will effect the show, “John and Kate Plus 8″.
