Hannah Montana fans have just one more year to enjoy new episodes of their favorite show. Billy Ray Cyrus, father of Miley Cyrus and co-star of Hannah Montana has said in multiple interviews that the fourth season of the show will be it’s last.

The third season of the show has just finished shooting and is currently airing on the Disney Channel. The fourth season of the show comes at the request of Miley herself who wanted Hannah Montana to end in an official way and not with whatever odd episode happened to be at the end of season three.

Shooting for season four is expected to begin towards the end of January of 2010 and finish in the first week of June. There are expected to be 11 half-hour long episodes and a one-hour long series finale. Fans of Hannah, Jackson, Lily and Oliver are sure to be disappointed that the series is coming to an end but Billy Ray also noted that things could change and that anything is possible in Hollywood.
