Hundreds of family and friends joined together at the Forest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday to mourn the death of actor David Carradine.
More than 400 guests arrived including Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah and Michael Madsen who all starred alongside Carradine in the “Kill Bill’ movies.
Tom Selleck, Jane Seymour, Ali Larter, James Cromwell and Rob Schneider were also there to pay their respects.
Carradine’s older brother Bruce said after the service “Michael Madsen shared a list of rules to live by that David had given him years ago. These included advice like, ‘Never marry a woman named Candy,’ and ‘Never buy anything from a man who is out of breath.’ “It was touching, but light-hearted,”
Carradine’s older brother Bruce said. “There weren’t a lot of tears, but there was a lot of laughter.”
Following the service a group of Lakota tribal members burned incense outside the chapel and gave blessings to a number of funeral-goers.
The investigation into Carradine’s death continues; the autopsy already conducted ruled against suicide.
