Los Angeles – Carrie Prejean, the controversial Miss California USA will lose her crown today after failing to comply with pageant rules, according to various reports.
Prejean has reportedly violated her contract by not showing up for scheduled appearances, among other things. The terms of her contract state that Prejean must also get “clearance†before doing extracurricular activities, and she hasn’t been doing that either.
Donal Trump, the pagent owner, said that the recently released racy photos of the 22-year-old were a contrubutor to the final decision.
“I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California USA organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so,” Trump said in the statement.
“Unfortunately it just doesn’t look like it’s going to happen and I offered Keith my full support in making this decision,” he said. “Carrie is a beautiful young woman and I wish her well as she pursues other interests.”
Miss Malibu Tami Farrel will be crowned the new Miss California USA.
