Singer Rihanna and her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, have reunited, despite allegations that Brown assaulted Rihanna on February 7th in an incident in Los Angeles. At that time, Brown was booked on suspicion of making a criminal threat to a woman, a felony charge.

After a call on her 21st birthday, Brown, 19, and Rihanna traveled to Miami, where they are staying at the oceanside compound of Sean “P Diddy” Combs. Brown has been spotted on water, enjoying jet skis with friends. Rihanna has yet to appear outside the house. Sources say the two are staying at the compound to try to work through their relationship.

Fans have expressed astonishment at the reunion. Online forums and blogs are full of dismay that the Disturbia singer has returned to her alleged abuser.

While the Los Angeles police did not identify the woman involved in the incident, both Brown and Rihanna canceled Grammy appearances scheduled for February 8th. Leaked photos have since been released on the internet showing the bruised face of the singer. Despite the apparent reunion, the Los Angeles District Attorney is still considering charges against Brown.
