Hamilton – The season premiere of the new season of the hit reality show “American Idol” aired on Tuesday January 13, 2009.
A female singer named Katrina Darrell really made an impact on “American Idol” judges and viewers. Katrina was wearing a bikini during her audition for the show. The audition was located in Phoenix, Arizona. Katrina was actually told by the judges that she would be moving on in the competition. She will be going to Hollywood.

Katrina Darrell is a model which is not very surprising. She is from Chino, California. She is twenty years old. The song that she chose to sing for the four judges was “Vision of Love”. She did not do a great job at singing the song. The new “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi, thought that Katrina did not do a good job at singing the song and even sang a little bit of the song to show her how it is supposed to sound. In the end, the two male judges- Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson could not overlook Katrina’s looks and allowed her to move on to Hollywood. Paula Abdul also agreed that Katrina should move on in the competition.

“American Idol” is supposed to be about finding people who are extremely talented singers. If they wanted to find a beautiful girl then they should be judges on “America’s Next Top Model”. Katrina Darrell’s looks are the only thing that got her through which is unfair to those people who auditioned and are actually talented singers.
