Los Angeles – Patrick Swayze isn’t letting cancer get the best of him and take over his life; instead he’s partying to celebrate the end of filming on his new TV show called “The Beast”.

The 56 year-old was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in May and has been undergoing treatment ever since. This hasn’t stopped Swayze from acting, playing the role of an undercover FBI agent in “The Beast” which premiers January 15.

His co-star Kevin O-Connor says “He has so much more energy that you don’t think about his health. In fact I think I look a lot more tired than Patrick does. He is just amazing.”

Swayze and his wife of 33 years, Lisa Niemi arrived at the wrap up party just after 7pm and stayed almost 2 hours before saying their goodbyes, but according to an onlooker “Patrick still looked healthy and rested when he left – he didn’t appear drained by the appearance at the event.”
