Los Angeles -  Actor Keanu Reeves was acquitted of a civil lawsuit that a Brazilian photographer filed against him for damages, and therefore claimed more than 600 thousand dollars of compensation.

Paparazzi photographer Alison Silva, said that in March 2007 was struck by Reeeves porsche and suffered wounds in one of his wrists when he tried to get some pictures of the “Matrix” star.,

After deliberating nearly an hour, the jury decided to release the actor, saying that he was not responsible for the alleged injuries of the Brazilian.

“It’s time to end his 15 minutes [of fame],” attorney Alfred Gerisch said Friday.
The jury heard testimony for four days and saw videos of Silva who presented the defense of Reeves, who made clear the contradictions of the photographer.

According to Silva’s lawyer, his client had a permanent injury for the alleged accident, so he asked the jury to order the actor to pay his clients medical expenses and economic losses after the incident.

“I respect the jury’s decision. This has been a life experience for me,” he said. Asked if he would seek out Reeves as a subject in the future, he smiled and said, “Why not?”
