New York - After weeks of rumours it’s confirmed Britney Spears will open the MTV VMAs this Sunday night.
The pop tart says “MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?”
It’s not known just what Brit has up her sleeve but it’s believed she’ll appear in a segment and not perform.
MTV’s president says talks also underway to have Michael Jackson make an appearance.
The MTV VMAs air live right here on MuchMusic Sunday night at 9PM ET!
