Hollywood – Tropic Thunder, the latest Ben Stiller comedy, managed to beat out The House Bunny to win the box office.
Tropic Thunder, which was released amidst a great deal of controvsery, managed to win the top spot at the box office from Friday to Sunday, taking in $16.3 million.
It as followed closely by The House Bunny, which took in $14.5 million.
Coming in third was Death Race, which took in $12.6 million.
The top five were rounded out by The Dark Knight, which garnered another $10.5 million, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which took in $5.7 million.
