Washington – Music icon Isaac Hayes passed away last weekend at the age of 65, and reportedly did so because of a stroke.
Isaac Hayes died on Sunday at his home in Memphis, after he was found next to a treadmill in his home.
According to paper filed by his family doctor, he suffered a stroke.
The stroke was caused by chronic hypertension. Hayes had been receiving treatment for his high blood pressure before this.
There is no autopsy scheduled, as the cause of death is expected to be concluded to just be a stroke.
The family of the music icon is apparently comfortable with the conclusion reached.
