Detroit – Madonna, the Material Girl herself, was back in Michigan to show off her new film.

She arrived on Saturday in Michigan to show off her new documentary called “I Am Because We Are.”

The film was the highlight of the Traverse City Film Festival, and has been greeted with a great deal of praise.

The event was co-founded by filmmaker, author, and Michigan native Michael Moore.

Many fans cheered as Madonna entered Michigan, looking as classy as ever.

Madonna was up on stage with Michael Moore before the film was screened.

She stated ‘It’s great bringing my movie to a place that I feel familiar.  Not like the Cannes Film Festival, where nobody’s speaking English, or the Tribeca Film Festival, where no one sits down.”
