Youthful Actress Has Breast Cancer Expected To Make Full Recovery

Hollywood, CA- Often cancer strikes the people we least expect, and the young actress Christina Applegate is one example.

Christina Applegate is best known for her starring role in the Television comedy “Married With Children,” and she was recently diagnosed with breast Cancer.

Applegate is 36 years old, and was diagnosed during a routine MRI screening at her annual checkup.

It appears the cancer was caught early, and that it is not life threatening.

The medical Professionals that are treating Ms. Applegate appear to be very confident that the talented young actress will make a full recovery.

One of the most highly diagnosed cancer in America, Breast cancer affects nearly 182,000 women each year, and about one woman in 5, or about 40 thousand women a year die from the disease.

Factors that can increase your risk of contracting breast cancer include radiation, hormone therapy, obesity and pesticide exposure.

Ms. Applegate apparently has a family history of cancer on both sides of her family but because Ms. Applegate has caught her cancer in the early stages she is expected to make a full recovery.
