New York – The boyfriend of supermodel Ruslana Korshunova has no idea why the stunning 20-year-old took her life Saturday afternoon.
“She was doing good. She was one of the top models. She was happy with this,” said Mark Kaminsky, 32.
Kira Titeneva, a friend of Korshunova, told the New York Post that the model appeared to be “on top of the world.”
“There’s no way she would have killed herself,” said Kira Titeneva. “She loved life so much.”
The Kazakhstan born model fell from her 9th floor apartment in the Financial District of Wall Street, the New York Post first reported.
Although the death is under investigation, police do not suspect any foul play.
Born July 2, 1987 in Almaty, the largest city of the former Soviet republic Kazakhstan, Korshunova had appeared on the front cover of Russian Vogue and in ads for Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior.
