Los Angeles – Congratulations are in order for Jessica Alba who gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend.

The actress and her fiancé, Cash Warren, welcomed Honor Marie Warren on Saturday.

“I don’t want to be my child’s best friend. I want to be a mom,” Alba recently told Fit Pregnancy. “But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line.”

This is the couple’s first child.

Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, met in 2004 while on the set of “Fantastic Four” in which Alba had a staring role and Cash was a directors assistant.
