Jayde Nicole, a 22-year-old Ontario native, has been named Playboy's 2008 Playmate of the Year.

Toronto - Jayde Nicole, a 22-year-old Port Perry Ontario native, has been named Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year.

Nicole is Canada’s first Playmate of the Year since Shannon Tweed was honored with the title in 1982.

Nicole who was Playboy’s Miss January 2007, will now appear in a 10-page nude pictorial in Playboy’s June issue, which will be on newsstands and through the Playboy website.

Jayde also received $100,000 in prize money and a 2008 Cadillac CTS, Playboy said.
