Los Angeles – Lindsay Lohan has been caught in the middle of a mix-up which ended with an $11,000 fur coat disappearing.
The fur coat beloned to Masha Markova, and disappeared at a birthday party in a New York bar.
Two weeks later, she saw Lohan wearing an identical fur coat in the pages of a celebrity magazine in photographs taken the same night the coat went missing.
The coat disappeared on January 26 at a birthday party Lohan was also at.
Markova told her lawyer to threaten legal action against Lohan.
The coat was returned to her shortly after with no explanation. It smelt of smoke and alcohol.
Markova is demanding $10,000 for the rental of the coat, stating it could not have been an accident.
