Los Angeles – It’s just another ordinary day in the life of former pop star Britney Spears.

Thrusday morning, Spears was taken to UCLA Medical Center to be placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold, according to People.

Her ambulance was also given the royal treatment with a police escort.

Just weeks ago, Britney, 26, was rushed to the hospital during a police standoff in which she refused to hand her children back over to Kevin Federline.

Internet rumors of an attempted suicide have been denied by those close to Britney, but who really knows?

Maybe she did and maybe she didn’t. Either way, this girl desperately needs help and let’s hope that she gets it this time.
