Boston (EON) – One of the Hanson brothers, Isaac Hanson, had to go through surgery on Thursday in Dallas to remove blood clots in his arm which was very successful, as the Hanson brothers are set to resume their tour The Walk on Monday.
Isaac Hanson stated that “I’m luck to be here.” He had a bandage over his right forearm at a press conference on the banks of the Arkansas River. The Hanson brothers were at the press conference to endorse a sales tax proposal to improve the river.
The brothers were performing on Tuesday night at the House of Blues in Dallas when the Hanson brother Isaac had a swelling and stiffness in his arm halfway through the show.
He stated that “I just left for a couple of minutes and walked backstage.” He then realized that his arm was a mess and that it was very serious. He was taken to the Baylor University Medical Center on Dallas on Wednesday as the band postponed their homecoming show in Tulsa. This was not the first time that he had developed blood clots as his first diagnosis was at the age of 23.
Isaac stated that he will have to change the way he plays the guitar as the Hanson brothers finish out their national tour in December.
