Los Angeles – Tom Cruise is rumored to be building a $10 million underground bunker at his mansion in Telluride, Colorado, as a way to save his family after Armageddon – not the nuclear holocaust kind, but the end of the world when the Galactic Confederacy dictator Xenu attacks the earth.

According to a report in the always reliable Star magazine, Scientologist Cruise – an OT-VII (Operating Thetan seven) – wants to be prepared for the coming War of the Worlds. Who says life can’t be a movie?

Reports claim the bunker will be a self-contained underground system where up to ten people can survive for several years. But would that be sufficient to hide from the deposed evil overload Xenu, whom Scientologists believe will seek revenge and destroy earth someday?

Vice president of L.A.’s Celebrity Scientology Center Greg LaClaire questions the Star’s story, saying, “I don’t speak for our parishioners, but it’s a complete fabrication. Bunkers aren’t even remotely a principle in Scientology.”

Meanwhile, OK! Magazine has reported the couple are trying for another lil’ thetan of their own — a baby sibling for toddler Suri while Tom’s in Germany filming the Nazi pic “Valkyrie”.
