Wild horse attacks alligator in unbeiliable new video

This video shot by Krystal M. Berry is going viral today after she managed to capture one of the most bizarre and dramatic encounters on camera while visiting Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in Florida.

Everything was normal and nature seemed to be presenting a calm scene as this herd of horses grazed near an alligator until suddenly it all kicked off and Mother Nature showed that neither horse nor alligator are to be messed with.

Paynes Prairie biologist Andi Christman said Wednesday evening she had never before heard of a horse attacking an alligator in the park. She theorized that the horse was fretting about the alligator being nearby.

“The horses recognize that the alligators are predators,” Christman said. “We like to speculate about what’s going on in the minds of different animals so I would assume that, for whatever reason, the horse probably felt that the alligator was in a threatening position or felt uncomfortable by its presence.”

Check out the as the Wild horse attacks alligator!  You don’t see that every day.
