Plastic Surgery Voucher for 7-year-old Sparks Outrage

Seven-year-old Poppy of the U.K. didn’t get the normal stocking stuffers most kids around the world received this year for Christmas. Instead her mother, the self-proclaimed “human Barbie”, stuffed her younger daughters stocking with a voucher for Liposuction.

Sarah Burge, the mother of Poppy, proclaims that the child asks for plastic surgery “all the time” and considers the vouchers an investment in her daughter’s future. Some parents pack their kids savings accounts for college, Burge considers cosmetic surgery to be the same thing.

This isn’t the first plastic surgery certificate young Poppy has received. For her 7th birthdays he received a voucher for breast augmentation surgery. Burge, the “Human Barbie”, has reportedly spent $700,000 on her own quest for perfection.

Burge and her non-conventional gift have sparked outrage around the world from the media and parents alike who fear what such a gift will do to the youngster’s self-esteem.
