New York – With all of the stress and crisis in the world today it is good to know that happiness still has the ability to be contagious.
In a recent study done by Harvard Medical School and the University of California, San Diego it was found that the happiness of not only your friends but your friends’ friends affects your mood in a positive way.
The University of California, San Diego study went so far as to say that if you experience your friends’ friend true happiness then that has a more positive effect on your mood than if you were to find several thousand dollars in your pocket.
That is a powerful weapon against any modern day dilemma.
In a day and age where 24 hour news stations bring us all the day’s bad news, it is nice to know that all it takes is a smile from a stranger to truly brighten our day.
Now that there is a 20 year scientific study completed by two reputable universities about the power of happiness it can no longer be denied that happiness is more contagious than greed and despair.
With the confirmed power of happiness in print maybe more people will start to believe that all it takes to brighten our world is the simple smile and kindness that we show to a stranger.
