Winnipeg- A representative of a young 17 year old that perished right after he was subdued by police with a taser wants to know why the stun gun was used without trying other methods.

The mother is currently not being identified by the media, or the police, but she seeks to inquire as to why a taser was used on her son, and to find out if her son was racially profiled.

The 17 year old man was shocked with a taser device after a altercation with police in Canada.

The young man was rushed to the hospital after police stunned him with a taser, and later died at the hospital.

The young man is rumored to be Michael Langan, and the police have not issued any statements as to why they choose to use a taser device on Langan.

Colorado State authorities have been in pursuit of Matthew Bynum since October of 2007 when they were alerted to his activities with underage girls he was in contact with over the Internet.

He would strike up online friendships, then travel to Larimer County to meet the girls, where he would sexually assault them.

More Than 1000 Stores And Buildings Without Electricity

Vancouver, B.C.- As the end of a third day without power approaches, there appears to be little change on the immediate horizon for over 1000 stores and businesses in Vancouver, B.C.

British Columbia Hydro Electric has stated publicly that the continuing outage is from an underground cable splice, and a tripped circuit failure.

But this news is little solace to those in the city who remain without power for a third day.

“There is negative impact on a number of service industries and businesses, the revenue lost is gone- it won’t be recovered,” said Jock Finlayson. (more…)

James Webb Space Telescope Will Carry Canadian Devices

Toronto- The huge space telescope that is being constructed in the United States will feature a number of different vital instruments that are being produced by Canadian Scientists.

The new telescope is the size of a tennis court, and it will produce images that are more in depth and precise than are currently found with the Hubble Space Telescope.

The telescope is named the James Webb Space Telescope, and it is a $4 billion dollar space venture, and it will feature a number of Canadian instruments that will be important to its overall function.

“It will have the largest mirror ever flown in space when it launches in 2013 and it will definitely open up a new era of discovery in astronomy,” the NASA scientist said Monday as he stood next to a model of the giant telescope.

The instruments are a fine guidance sensor that will help the telescope with its aiming and pointing function, without which the telescope would be unable to function. (more…)
