Disney’s tween superstar, Miley Cyrus, has a tour bus that was involved in a deadly accident. The caravan includes four buses that carry the touring artist’s crew and equipment. The caravan was headed to the next stop on the tour in Greensboro, North Carolina.
A bus carrying ten people and the lighting equipment, overturned on a Virginia highway at 8:15 Friday morning. The singer was not on the bus at the time. It is believed the driver of the overturned bus was killed. Reports indicate that nine other people on the bus at the time are being treated for minor injuries.
The highways were slick due to rain the night before. It is unknown at this time what caused the accident, but it appears the bus drifted off the side of the road and overturned. It is still unclear if the driver died before the accident or died as a result of the accident.
Cyrus has not made any public statements at this time, her manager is only saying she was not on the bus involved. It does not appear that Cyrus was on any of the buses at the time of the accident.

This is the second screenplay adaption of the novels by Stephanie Meyer and has created a buzz as a die hard fans flock to theaters across the country to see the second part of the series that started with the first movie last year. What happened was the film sets up a love saga that involves Bella Swan, a vampire that she is having a romantic relationship with and her friend. Last year when the film was released it had one the largest opening day weekends of a non summer films ever and has developed a series of loyal fans around the world.
Every now and then there are those films that inspire the imagination while creating a sense of anticipation about what is going to happen next. This is the signature of all great films and is one of the key elements as to why the Twilight opening is so popular. Clearly this film is quickly on its way to becoming an instant classic.
Nicole Richie has been hospitalized after not feeling well for a few days.
A representative for the 28 year-old said in a statement “Nicole has checked herself into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well.”
Richie was so sick last week that she missed the launch of her House of Harlow jewellery line. She even twittered “OK cold, it’s been 6 days. Let?s part ways graciously & keep it moving.”
Rumour had it that Richie had swine flu but that was quickly ruled out by her representative.
Richie has two children, Harlow, 1, and Sparrow, 2 months, with Joel Madden, lead singer of Good Charlotte.
US Senator John Kerry’s daughter, Alexandra, was just busted earlier this morning on suspicion of Driving Under The Influence (DUI).
Kerry, 36, was originally pulled over for a traffic violation, but charged with misdemeanor DUI after she failed a field sobriety test and alcohol screening test, Extra reports.
According to TMZ.com, which first reported the news, the director-producer first refused the tests and was taken to LAPD’s Hollywood station. She was released at 5:25 AM.
California’s legal limit is .08, but Kerry still faces prosecution for unsafely operating a vehicle.
The eldest daughter of the Massachusetts senator, the Democrats’ 2004 presidential nominee, shas produced documentaries and has had several small acting roles.
According to reports, legendary rocker Rod Stewart is being sued for 3.3- million by his own lawyers.
The “Maggie May” singer, faces a lawsuit from Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard & Shapiro, for allegedly failing to pay his legal bills.
Actually he’s paid the majority of his bills. The law firm has represented Stewart on many occasions and have been paid 19 other times.
The firm, a specialist in entertainment law, claims Stewart hasn’t paid for three high-profile cases it conducted in his defense.
They include a cancelled show in 2000, a trademark infringement case and a lawsuit from a concert promoter.
Stewart is yet to comment on the issue.
Stewart has yet to comment — probably because he’s looking for a new lawyer.
The biggest loser has helped Rebecca Meyer lose a ton of weight, and gain a boyfriend. What a deal! Meyer who is 25, met Daniel Wright, 20, at the Biggest Loser ranch. What started out as just a very basic friendship turned into a serious romance between the two.
Since leaving the ranch, Meyer has lost a total of 122 pounds. She looks absolutely stunning. She has wowed the public with her dramatic transformation. Her body is very toned, and she looks very happy and healthy. She started the Biggest Lose at 304 pounds.
Their romance did not start until they were both eliminated from the show. It started with talking over the phone for hours, and now they see each other often. They do live in different states, but that does not stop them from supporting each other in their continued weight loss battle.
They provide encouragement to one another when it is needed, and visit each other’s gyms while visiting. There had been speculation about the relationship when they were both on the show, but neither admitted it, until Meyer was eliminated recently.
Jennifer Hudson will soon play the role of Ms Madikizela-Mandela, who is one of the most celebrated yet controversial figures South Africa has ever seen. She is the ex-wife of Nelson Mandela and was responsible for freeing him from prison on Robben Island after twenty seven years of incarceration. This is one of the reasons for her popularity, even though they were divorced a short four years later.
Ms Madikizela-Mandela, also known as Winnie, has also been linked to a murder. A young activist named Stompie Seipei was thought by some to be an informer for the apartheid government. Many believe this is what led to her kidnap and death. Ms Madikizela-Mandela has denied any involvement, but most believe she played a role. She has also been charged with theft and fraud, which took place in 2003.
Jennifer Hudson will have the challenge of doing such a dynamic character justice on the big screen. Based on her successes to date, it would probably be wise to put your money on her opposed to against her. This could also act as an avenue toward a bigger role in the entertainment world. It’s unlikely she would let such a great opportunity slip away.

whole season. It should have been Mya and her partner,
then Joanna and Derek then Kelly and her partner.
Derek is an inspiration for all men who enjoying dancing. The show was ruined by the loss of these two and keeping Donnie on no matter how good a performer he is.
No wonder he was smiling he pulled off a fast one on a
tremendous dancer in Derek.

What a huge disappointment to see Joanna eliminated last night. This is supposed to be a DANCE CONTEST not a popularity (or fan-based) contest. This has been our favorite show but my husband and I may not even watch the rest of the shows or even any next season. The judges should carry more weight than viewers. Why should everyone stop watching the show or say it is rigged. It is upfront when they say it is the judge scores and the fan vote. That is what the show says. It is based on the fan vote also those of the judges. So it is upfront with they say this. So if you want to quit watching quit. But it is not a professional dance circuit. It is Dancing with the Stars and it does include the fan vote. That is just what makes the show the way it is. Why do you think the stars are asking for calls. Because that is how the show is set up. It is a competition but it is also about supporting your favorite star. Joanan Krupa was an amazing dancer. But again the fan vote is what makes Dancing with the Stars the show it is.

I was furious! If this is a popularity show, why learn to dance well? Let the judges rule at least by 3/4. If it stays this way or Mya doesn’t win, I’m through. Donnie and Kelly should not be there. Don’t call this a dancing competition! What a bad joke!!

Agree that Donnie should have been gone weeks ago. The judges promoted him by not giving any bad marks to him. It was always “what an entertainer you are, Donnie.” I understand he even took dancing lessons but still he is just show boating. What a whiner not a winner. Be gone, overdue.

Other seasons some celebs lasted longer than their dancing; the past couple–good celeb dancers left earlier than others, ie Kelly and Donnie should have left b/4 female swimmer and Aaron – – Joanna leaving b/4 Kelly and Donnie – it’s become a farce!!!! Give the judges MORE of the vote – to get the BEST DANCER!! Seems the judges this season expected MORE of Mya and Joanna – wasn’t it just 2 wks ago that they were telling Kelly she better pick it up – they gave her praise and 8’s when she admittedly screwed up and where was her zip in her jitterbug – go back and look – nowhere near the others – expect the SAME out of all of them and judge accordingly..

I was disappointed AGAIN this year on voters choice who went home. I think when it comes down to it that fan voting is all wrong and perhaps this should be eliminated! For now it is CYSTAL CLEAR it is becoming a popularity vote and not a vote on dancing AT ALL!

I think the finalists should have been Mya, Aaron, and Joanna. Kelly and Donnie are obviously not as good as the other 3. There has to be some way to make it fairer. It’s not supposed to be a popularity contest and that’s what it’s turning into!
Penelope Cruz was on The Late Show last night to promote her new film Broken Embraces.
Cruz, who has been dating fellow Spanish actor Javier Bardem since 2007 was not wiling to dish out the details on any future wedding or baby plans.
David Letterman asked the actress, 35, point-blank if she’s engaged to Bardem, 40. “I don’t feel comfortable talking about my private life in public,” she said, laughing.
“I’ve been here a few times with you, you know I’m tough. One thing I don’t do, I don’t lie about my personal life,” she said. “It’s sacred to me. It’s my life. But I don’t give details about it because I am allergic to that.”
Not one to give up easily, Letterman finally asked, “So you know, but you don’t want to tell me?” Responded Cruz, giggling, “I know, but I choose not to share some things!”
