Golfer Tiger Woods was arrested for impaired driving overnight Sunday to Monday in Jupiter, Florida.

The Twitter account of the Golf Channel network broadcast the report of the police authorities concerning the arrest of the man of 41 years. He was arrested around 3 am and left the prison in the morning. Moreover, a picture of legal identity of the former world number one of the golf seems haggard quickly circulated on the social networks.

Details of a Woods court presence are not yet known.

The American has been forced to miss several months of activities in recent years due to back problems. He was operated in April and the date of his return to competition is undetermined. His most recent presence on the greens goes back to the Omega Classic Dubai in February.

A week ago, however, Woods reiterated in a blog his wish to continue his professional career despite his physical troubles.
