Vaio laptop recall

Software Giant Feels Pain Of Laptop Recall

Japan-The overall news on the horizon for Sony, Inc has come in and it is not positive, the necessary recall of their newest Vaio laptop because of concerns of overheating is causing the huge company to experience pain.

The International notebook competitor issued a global warning last week to anyone that has purchased its VAIO brand notebook to be on guard for wiring products that in worse case scenarios may cause a house fire.

Sony examined the complains and other problems before it issued the recall, and the recall itself will likely save many lives, but at a huge financial cost to Sony itself.

Sony has stated that the it intends to try and fix the problem, but with the sheer number of laptops that they may receive it will be interesting to see the level of positive response that Sony is able to mount.

In its official statement, Sony apologizes for their recall and asks consumers to be patient while they attempt to make the problems go away, but many in the field may turn to other laptops or the competitors while Sony attempts to fix the problem.

There have been a number of fires and more than 200 customer laptops that have reported to be extremely warm or even hot when used.

Sony states that this is a fairly rare problem but that it is caused by the wiring in these laptops are out of place, and the wires can be re routed but that is a long drawn out process according to Sony.
