CEO John Lilly Says He Has No Concerns And Internet Is Open Market
California- The release of the new browser from Google does not have the competition apparently feeling any sort of concern, according to the comments by the CEO of Mozilla, the makers of FireFox, one of the other competitive Web Browsers that are in the marketplace.
John Lilly says that that there is plenty of competition and that the important and primary motive is to keep the Internet and the World Wide Web open and competitive.
The reception to the newest Internet web browser has been mixed, with some welcoming the Google Chrome browser and its appearance on the Internet scene with open arms, and others not certain what it means for the future of web Browsers overall.
Internet Explorer, the browser that is manufactured and created by Microsoft leads the market world wide, but Microsoft has slowly seen its market share of browser devices slowly erode at FireBox, Safari, and now Google Chrome making their own individual marks on the Internet browser market.
Chrome appears to be a browser that may appeal to certain niche users, it will definitely find a group and likely hold its own with a loyal core of users and adherents that swear by it, as each of the other web Browsers have done.
Competition has recently became more of a factor than it has in the past, with leader Microsoft announcing that on its newest IE browsers that it will have new “InPrivacy,†features, that have not been part of the IE browsers in the past.
This is to answer different features and options in FireFox and other browsers, and shows the pressure that healthy competition can bring.
