Two Twilight New Moon trailers snuck onto the web over the past couple of days, but were quickly removed by Summit Entertainment due to copyright violations. The sneak peaks were just enough to get the fans even more excited for the upcoming release of the film on November 20th.
It is no secret a love triangle is a major part of this film. The 47 second clip that we got to see gets us even more eager about what may happen. The scene shows Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) outside, against a building. She plays coy, points out the fact that it is still her birthday, and she wants a birthday wish. Of course that birthday wish is a kiss from her vampire love interest. He complies and gives her a steamy 14 second kiss! Now the only question, will Bella choose Edward, or the upcoming hottie Jacob (Taylor Lautner)?
The clip does not reveal a lot, but at this point any little Twilight tidbit is savored for days. In yet another authorized trailer, Jacob is seen transforming into a werewolf. Bella is of course completely shocked that her friend is a werewolf.
For those who may not have got to see the first film in theaters, it will be played in a few theaters the day before the New Moon film is released.
The newest form of rehab for Hollywood stars, is sex addiction rehabilitation. Steve Phillips, a former ESPN baseball analyst was caught cheating on his wife and is paying a very high price. He was fired from his position at ESPN and his wife has filed for divorce. The former GM for the Mets, has a lot of work ahead of him, if he hopes to ever repair his reputation.
Phillips broke off the affair with the much younger woman, Brooke Hundley, ultimately making her very mad and vindictive. She began harassing Phillips’s wife in a stalker like manner. The 22 year old Hundley was also an employee of ESPN, and has since been fired as well. She continues to post comments about the situation on her MySpace page.
Phillips has now entered a rehabilitation program to try and help his sex addiction. His addiction has been blamed for his numerous affairs, and has landed him in hot water before. He enrolled in the rehab just one day after getting fired from his job. This is his second attempt at sex addict rehab. His first attempt was over 10 years ago, when he was busted for cheating on his wife. Phillips’s agent describes this latest affair as him falling off the wagon. He is hoping to keep his family together with this latest rehab stint.
Actor turned artist, Dennis Hopper, has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is cancelling his upcoming plans to focus on his treatment.
Hopper was scheduled to be flying to Australia next week to appear at his exhibition of art and photography called Dennis Hopper and the New Hollywood which is being displayed at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
His manager issued a statement about his condition, simply saying “We’re hoping for the best”. The 73 year-old is being treated through a special treatment program at the University of Southern California.
Hopper recently completed filming the second season of “Crash”, a TV version of the Oscar winning movie.
His exhibition starts on November 12 and continues through to April 25, 2010.
It seems that until the next November 18, when New Moon (The Twilight Saga: New Moon) hits theaters there will be no day that we do not have new promotional material. On this occasion we found plenty of action and the first cocktail of the first clash of the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in the front row.
Wolves hunt vampires, vampire executed other vampires and the occasional human in this human case, in the middle. These are the ingredients of the new promos of New Moon. Some videos of just over 30 seconds long left hand a little romance of previous advances to make way for spectacular fights and action pure and simple.
Struggles in which we see as the wolf pack captained by Jacob hunts for the ruthless vampire Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria, the deadly bloodsuckers in this release redhead Rachelle Lefevre plays yet, which replaces Bryce Dallas Howard Eclipse.
But undoubtedly the highlight is the confrontation face to face and tusk to tusk Edard and Jacob to his beloved. Two cockerels fighting for the love of Bella. The three form the love triangle plot that centers created by Stephenie Meyer.
In another television clip we can see fighting again against the powerless Edward Bella’s eyes, although in this case against one of the Volturi, the vampire clan in charge of administering justice between the bloodsuckers.
The hugely anticipated sequel to Twilight hits theaters on November 20.
There are rumors floating around about a Michael Jackson autopsy photo that may be released to the public, by an outside source. The singer died unexpectedly a few short months ago.
The man suffered constant media scrutiny during his life, and is still being plastered all over the news after his death. The obsession with Michael Jackson memorabilia has steadily increased since his death.
The latest tribute to the pop star, has just recently been released to very mixed reviews. Some feel enough is enough, and the man deserves to finally rest in peace. Others feel the tribute is a way to remember him and honor him.
The alleged photo was supposedly shown to a restaurant owner by a police officer who had access to the file. The restaurant owner reportedly used his cell phone to take a picture of the autopsy photo. Tabloid magazines estimate if there is an autopsy photo, it could be worth at least a million dollars. The photo reportedly shows a bald Jackson, with no makeup on, lying on an autopsy table.
Micheal Jackson, often refereed to a s “The King of Pop”, died June 25, 2009 due to a cardiac arrest.
The alleged pictures show the singers thin emaciated body, the scars of his alleged drug use, and his lifeless body during the autopsy. We have all watched in shock the Pepsi burning video, where Michael’s scalp was literally on fire.
Will Michael Jackson ever be actually laid to rest in peace or will the world just never leave him alone?
The coroner in this case, believes the photos are computer generated.
Chelsea Handler Strikes A Pose
Chelsea Handler is somewhat of a rising star. Her blunt comments and in-your-face attitude combined with her show Chelsea Lately have given her an opportunity to peak the interest of the mainstream media. Her show also follows what has become a cult following in The Soup, hosted by Joe McHale, which is on E. That being the case, her timing hasn’t been so bad, either.
On The Jay Leno Show on Wednesday night, Chelsea showed herself off on the front cover of Playboy. Don’t get too excited, though. While she’s wearing a tiny gold bikini and knee-high boots on the cover, once you delve inside the magazine you will see that she is covered by an apron and mini-dress while preparing a Christmas meal.
Chelsea joked with Leno that she trained for the event by giving up alcohol for a day and a half. Leno later asked her to strike a pose for the audience of his show, but she was uncharacteristically shy about the request. What the reason is, nobody knows.
What we do know is that Chelsea Handler knows how to work her way up. There’s a good chance you will be reading more about er soon.
Happy Birthday, Bella. What would any girl in her shoes wish for on her special day? Hmmm, how about a kiss from a tall, pale and handsome dude who reads minds (except yours, thank goodness), is super strong and able to run at outlandish speeds while carrying you on his back as if you were weightless?
And, don’t forget he’s also a vampire so captivated by the scent of your blood, if you weren’t the love of his life, he’d eat you for breakfast, literally.
Twilight madness has reached a fever pitch as the opening of the second movie installment, “New Moon,” looms closer to the magic day – November 20.
Quite a few trailers have been released from the movie studio or “unofficial” sources to tantalize us, but they always leave us panting for more.
We’ve seen Jacob sans shirt and morphing into a wolf, we’ve caught glimpses of the evil Volturi, and scenes of Edward defending his human squeeze from thirsty foes, but hardly any of the teen supreme couple in a happy moment, until now.
At least they should be happy; after all, she’s getting her birthday wish, but don’t you detect tension in Edward’s face when he leans in for the passionate smooch? Fans of the books know there’s more danger, drama and desire ahead for the lovebirds.
This is what we crave and expect. It’s a very brief clip compared to some of the others, but we’ll take what we can get for now.
Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox are reuniting, not as friends but as a doctor and patient.
In an interview with TV Guide, Cox said that she has invited her former “Friends” co-star to join her on her new show “Cougar Town”.
The sitcom revolves around a hot mom in her 40s who enters the dating scene. As for Kudrow’s role Cox said “If it all works out, she’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me.”
Cox already attempted to convince Matthew Perry to star as her boyfriend on the show but he thought it would be too much after Monica and Chandler on “Friends”.
Cox also mentioned that if a part ever came up for Jennifer Aniston that she would love work with her again; they have remained very close friends since the show ended. “Obviously we can’t cast her (Aniston) so close to Lisa’s appearance but if there’s a great part for her, I’d send it right away.
She’s younger than me so she can’t play my contemporary even though she did on Friends, but I think we can find something great for her to play.”
Kudrow’s appearance will most likely happen during the November sweeps.
Steve Phillips Drama
Steve Phillips was once known as the General Manager for the New York Mets. There was a lot of excitement about him in New York when he was first hired. He was supposed to be the man to push the right buttons and take the team to the next level. Unfortunately, he traded away then leadoff hitter Lance Johnson for reliever Mel Rojas. By doing so, it took the Mets right out of the playoff race. For a long time in New York, that was his legacy. He was not known as an ESPN analyst first. Now everything has changed.
Steve Phillips, like many men with power, money and opportunity, could not resist his sexual desires. The twenty-two-year-old production assistant, Brooke Hundley, proved to be too tempting. Soon after their affair, ESPN fired Steve Phillips. Brooke Hundley was fired shortly thereafter. ESPN claimed that Steve Phillips didn’t represent them well. Steve Phillips reportedly has shown sexually compulsive behavior. It’s not abnormal for a big network to ditch one of their key players if an event in their lives can cause negative media attention.
According to Steve Leftkowitz, a representative for Steve Phillips, Mr. Phillips feels terrible about theses actions as has checked himself into a treatment center. He is most upset about what damage it might have done to his family, as that is his number one priority.
Will Steve Phillips return to baseball, whether it be as a general manager or analyst? Probably not, but crazier things have happened.
