Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan attended a Dolce & Gabanna party in Cannes on Friday with a glittering diamond ring her ring finger.
The entire ring appeared to be circled by diamonds, which is a little out of Lindsay’s price range, (even factoring in the minks she’s stolen). Whether it’s a gift from an admirer or a lend from a jewellery brand, it comes off as more paparazzi bait than pledge of eternal love.
But that alone is not nearly enough spectacle for this professional drama queen. With no acting gigs on her plate, Lindsay made sure people knew she’d arrived in Cannes by draping herself all over DJ Samantha Ronson (right), her long-term bestie.
The rumoured same-sex sweethearts were holding hands at a party on Diddy’s yacht Thursday night and came very close to a lip-on-lip kiss on camera at one point.
Lindsay’s rep explained this to CelebTV by saying, “They are close friends.” Did this rep give a theatrical nod and wink when she said this? Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood’s wife are “close friends.” Lindsay and Sam are in Oprah and Gayle territory here.

The Senator’s office announced on Tuesday that the Senator had a tumor that is malignant in his left parietal lobe in the brain. This is the area that controls the right side of the body.
Medical professionals point to a grim outlook, and harsh treatment including radiation and chemotherapy, but that will likely not eliminate the cancer, but may prolong his life.
The news is devastating to the Kennedy family who has had its share of tragedy with the assassinations of two brothers of Senator Edward Kennedy, former President John F. Kennedy in 1963, and former Senator Robert F. Kennedy in 1968. (more…)

The Insurance Board, along with the cooperation of the Canadian Transportation Ministry is sponsoring a driving simulator called DUMB: For Distractions Undermining Motorist Behavior, and it is touring the province of Canada this summer.
