
Los Angeles – Rumours were swirling today that Angelina Jolie gave birth to twin girls in France.
But Jolie’s rep denied the reports, saying “Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.”
News agencies including the Associated Press and Reuters have both reported that the Hollywood beauty gave birth Friday.
The Jolie-Pitts just signed a 3-year lease for a 35-bedroom mansion on the French Riviera worth US$70-million.
Washington – Reports state that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is in perfect health.
It appears that Obama has proven that he is in excellent shape to be the president of the United States.
Obama’s personal doctor state that the 46-year old senator has no medical problems at all.
He used to smoke cigarettes but quit on several occasions.
His doctor stated that he is in “good physical and mental health.”
The medical report was released one day after his Republican rival John McCain released his own medical records.
McCain’s records also showcased that the 71-year old is in great health and fit to be president.

Boston – Dunkin’ Donuts has decided to pull a new ad featuring Rachel Ray.
The ad features Rachel Ray wearing a traditional headdress usually worn by Arab men, and caused a lot of controversy from conservatives, especially Fox News.
The company ignored the criticism at first, stating that the scarf in question was just fine. But Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin’s comments forced Dunkin’ Donuts to remove the ad.
Malkin wrote “Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant and not-so-ignorant fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.”
Dunkin Donuts announced thay have changed the ad and put out a statement. “In a recent online ad, Rachael Ray is wearing a black-and-white silk scarf with a paisley design. It was selected by her stylist for the advertising shoot. Absolutely no symbolism was intended. However, given the possibility of misperception, we are no longer using the commercial.”
The ad is now pulled.
Hollywood – Reports state that George Clooney has split up with his girlfriend Sarah Larson, and is a bachelor once again.
The two had been dating for a full-year and were going along nicely, as Clooney even took her to the Oscars, a first for Clooney’s girlfriends.
They began dating back in June 2007 after meeting in Las Vegas. There has yet to be any denial of the break-up from either side.
All is over and done with though it seems as Clooney is single and eligible once again.
Washington – Newlyweds Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have confirmed that they are expecting their first baby together.
Leading up to their wedding, there were many rumors that the two were expecting a baby, but nothing was confirmed.
This is all a thing of the past though as it has been confirmed that they are ready to have a baby and start a family.
A statement from Wentz’s blog on Wednesday stated “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited tos hare the happy news and start our family.”
The two were married earlier this month.
Washington – American Idol contestant Clay Aiken is going to be a father.
The mother of the baby is apparently Jaymes Foster, who was the executive producer of his latest album, On My Way Here.
The two apparently stay together quite often in Los Angeles.
The 50-year old Foster is set to have the baby this August, and will be her first child.
Aiken will take a role in raising the child, but she was artificially inseminated.
Toronto – The doctor of former pro wrestler Chris Benoit, who was involved in a double-murder homicide last June has been indicted on 175 counts.
Dr. Phil Astin has been indicted on 175 counts including conspiracy in prescribing controlled substances to many patients.
There were many raids which were conducted on the doctor following the tragedy with Benoit.
Chris Benoit killed his wife Nancy and their son Daniel last June, and the proceeded to hang himself in their home.
Police found anabolic steroids as well as many prescription drugs in the Benoit home.
Astin has also been indicted on seven counts of distributing excessive amounts of pain and anxiety medicine to patients.

Boston – The Emmy-winning actor, best known for The Carol Burnett Show, Harvey Korman passed away at the age of 81.
He passed away on Thursday at the UCLA Medical Center, dying of complications from an abdominal aortic aneurysm which ruptured 4 months ago.
Harvey Korman was one of the favorite comedians of Mel Brooks, as he was used in Blazing Saddles, and other works.
He also spent 10 years on The Carol Burnett Show, making him a hit as a TV comedian.
Korman also appeared in other Brooks’ films such as High Anxiety, History of the World Part 1, and Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

Los Angeles – Kirsten Dunst is candidly talking about why she went to rehab.
The actress says it wasn’t for rumoured drug or alcohol problems, it was actually for depression.
Kirsten says she was struggling and wanted to take care of herself.
She said: “I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse, I went there for depression. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too.â€
Dunst checked into the celebrity friendly Cirque Lodge in February, the same place Lindsay Lohan detoxed.

Lander Works To Begin Mission As Designed
Pasadena, California- After some initial concerns the Phoenix Lander of NASA is looking ready to begin its mission as scheduled on Mars.
There are a number or redundancy systems built in to the Phoenix, in case one system fails another can take over and take its place performing the mission.
So far this has not been needed, the Landers is working and performing flawlessly, much to the smiles and grins on the faces at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California. (more…)
