Los Angeles - The latest “Terminator” movie has found its female lead.
According to Reuters, “Journeyman” star, Moon Bloodgood, is in final talks to play one of the surviving members of the resistance group.
The 32-year-old actress will be starring alongside Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, and Anton Yelchin in the fourth instalment of the “Terminator” franchise called “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins”.
Director McG will be taking the reins on the project which begins shooting early next month for an anticipated summer 2009 release date.

Los Angeles - Leaked photos of “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus showing off her midriff and lying on a males lap, have appeared online.
According to TMZ, the photos were leaked from her MySpeace account.
In the pictures, Cyrus is seen flashing a green bra and exposing her midriff as she lays across a young males lap.
Cyrus, 15, is no stranger to racy photo scandals. In January, photos of the young Disney star in a bikini and her underwear appeared online.
Last year, Cyrus earned an estimated $18.3 Million, according to People Magazine.
Los Angeles - Britney Spears will be making another appearance on the TV show “How I Met Your Mother”, according to People magazine.
The 26-year-old pop star will reportedly do one more episode, playing the same role as before: a receptionist who falls for one of the show’s main characters.
When the first episode with Brit aired, ratings jumped to the highest of the season, pulling in more than 2-million viewers than the show’s weekly average. Britney was praised by critics for her acting ability.
Flu Predictions Led To Wrong Type To Be Implemented
Atlanta- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued a report that shows that the influenza vaccine that is being used this year is largely ineffective.
The prediction for the flu virus this year was off the mark. Because of this the type and composition of the Influenza vaccine prepared and utilized was the wrong formulation. The type of influenza that actually struck was not the type that was prepared for.
This year’s flu prediction was the most in error of any in the last three seasons.
Normally the scientists who issue the predictions cause protection coverage of about 70-90 percent depending on the accuracy of the influenza prediction. (more…)
Los Angeles - Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a romantic comedy featuring the stars of the small screen. Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) goes out of his lawyer role in HIMYM to star in this film. Mila Kunis that gathered an almost cult following in the 70’s Show is also featured and Bill Hader from SNL gives additional laugh factor in the story. Also starring with Jason Segel is Kristen Bell who is also known from Veronica Mars.
The movie was also written by Jason Segel which is a first for him.
This is one of the movies that could be almost stereotyped with other movies like, Superbad, Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin. This is expected since behind all of this is producer Judd Apatow who was also behind the previously mentioned films. (more…)
Los Angeles - The new Jackie Chan and Jet Lee action flick, “The Forbidden Kingdon” took top spot at the box office this weekend, according to Box Office Mojo.
The film earn $20.9-million in it’s opening weekend. This is the first time, the two martial arts actors have appeared in the same movie.
Taking the number two spot this weekend was “Forgetting Sarah Marshal” which took in a impressive $17.3-million in it’s first weekend. The movie stars Jason Segel (Freaks And Geeks) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars).
Rounding out the top three was the remake, “Prom Night,” staring Brittany Snow.

Toronto - There will no TTC strike monday.
Preliminary details of the three year agreement include a 3% salary increase for each year of the agreement, better life insurance and dental benefits, better compensation for TTC employes injured on the job or because of attacks and the guarantee they will be the highest paid transit workers in the GTA.
Union president Bob Kinnear says the union didn’t get everything they wanted but enough to justify recommending to its 9,000 members to ratify the agreement.
Los Angeles - Sandra Bullock and her husband, Jesse James, were involved in a head-on collision in Gloucester, Mass, on Friday night, according to media reports.
The couple were hit by a drunk driver.
Bullock, 43, and James 39 were not seriously injured.
Bullock is currently in the area shooting a new movie titled “The Proposal” with Ryan Reynolds.
The alleged drunk driver was Lucile Gathcell, 64 years old, who has been charged with operating under the influence of liquor (DUI).
Gatchell was issued a field sobriety test and blew a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent on the breathalyzer, more than two and a half times the legal limit.
