Toronto - According to a report in the Toronto Star Wednesday, two men are behind bars and two young people are wanted in connection with the dog napping of Huckleberry.
Police say they know who they are looking for and are urging the pair to contact a lawyer and give themselves up.
Tuesday morning officers charged 54-year-old Richard Cassibo and 31-year-old Andrew Footit.
Cassibo is the man who returned the three-year old dog to his owner and then walked away with a $15 thousand reward. (more…)

Los Angeles - Fromer pop star Britney Spears was not given permission to visit her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James after lawyers met Tuesday.
Reportedly both sides could not agree on the terms of the visitation rights between Spears and her ex hubby Kevin Federline, TMZ reported.
It sounds it should be an easy call: Kevin Federline says he would approve of Britney regaining access to the kids — as long as her parents accompany her. (more…)

New York - Duane “Dog” Chapman will soon be back in A&E’s hit reality show ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’
The network announced Tuesday that the show is now in production.
Last year, the show was taken off the air due to racial comments Dog made during a taped phone call he had with his son Tucker in regards to his black girl friend.
Chapman issued an apology after the leaked audio tape began to circulate.
A premiere date has not been set, but houses have been rented and make up artists hired, according to to a FOX News report.

New York - Life is not rosy for Pink.
After two years of marriage, Pink and Carey Hart have separated.
The singer’s rep confirmed the news to People magazine saying “this decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another.”
He added, “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”
Pink, 28, and Hart, 32, met at the 2001 X Games and broke up for a time in 2003, but the split was well behind them in 2005, when the singer popped the question via hand held sign to her man as he sped around the track during a competition in Mammoth Lakes, Calif.
Last August the pair’s relationship was said to be in trouble, but Hart dismissed the stories then as “just a bunch of trash talk.”

New York - Lindsay Lohan has posed nude as Marilyn Monroe in a sensational new photo shoot.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star was “comfortable” shedding her clothes to recreate the famous ‘Last Sitting’ shots of Marilyn, taken by photographer Bert Stern just six weeks before she died of a drugs overdose.
Lindsay said: “I didn’t have to put much thought into it. Working with Bert Stern on a Marilyn Monroe shoot was really an honour. When is that ever going to come up again?
“I wanted to portray the look and get it point-on as much as I could, to bring it back to life. I was comfortable with it, the nudity and everything.”
In the shots, Lindsay wears a peroxide blonde wig and winged eyeliner, and is seen posing with a series of see-through chiffon scarves, a diamond necklace and sprawled naked on a bed.
The 21-year-old actress - who confessed she panicked and did 250 stomach crunches the night before the shoot in a bid to get her stomach as flat as possible - revealed she has always been a big fan of the iconic star.
She said: “If you saw my house, I have a lot of Marilyn stuff. I’ve got this painting of her in my house. It’s eerie because it’s a picture and it’s kind of cartoony, and there’s a big bottle of pills next to her, and they’ve fallen over.”
Photographer Bert Stern, who originally photographed Marilyn 46 years ago, added: “It was very similar, déjà vu you might say, like revisiting an old street.”
Lindsay also spoke about the recent death of close friend Heath Ledger, who died of an accidental drugs overdose last month.
She added to New York magazine: “It’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else. Marilyn and Heath are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”

New York - Apple Inc has had a habit of making an announcement each and every Tuesday for the last several weeks. This Tuesday was no different, with its announcement of the lowering of prices for two of its iPod products.
Apple decided to lower the price of the 1-gigabyte shuffle to $49 dollars, and to reduce the price of the 2 Gigabyte shuffle to $69 dollars. This is seen as a big jump downward in pricing, and promises to create a groundswell of enthusiasm for the iPod models involved.
“We have made the iPod Shuffle the most affordable its ever been,” said Greg Joswiak. (more…)

Toronto - Despite the recent news of Toshiba abandoning their HD format, the folks over at Microsoft have not given any indication of their support for other formats. Microsoft has not said if they will be supporting the Blu Ray disk format. For now, Microsoft is continuing to sell the HD DVD add-on that is available externally for its Xbox game system.
Many people in the graphics and entertainment industry believe that Microsoft will join the rest of the industry in the embrace of the Blu-Ray disk format in the coming weeks. But as yet, Microsoft has been playing their cards close to the vest, and has not issued a statement one-way or the other.
Previously, the support for the format backed by Toshiba has been steady. Microsoft has been up to now steadfast in its support for the HD DVD format, and with the (more…)
Vancouver - A trial is being held in Vancouver, which deals with the kidnap and hostage taking that occurred at the University of British Columbia last year. Graham McMynn testified yesterday regarding his ordeal at the hands of armed gunmen.
McMynn feared for his life, and was threatened with death should he ever reveal anything that happened to him. McMynn stated that both the lives of his family and his own life was threatened several times by the armed gunmen.
The kidnapping of Graham McMynn occurred last year when he and his girlfriend were en-route to the University for classes. He was captured, cuffed and held blindfolded for over eight days. The end of the ordeal was a dramatic take down by British Columbia police that included nearly a dozen arrests, and a raid of three different residences.
Of those dozen arrests, five people are now on trial for the kidnapping. The first witness in the case was twenty four year old McMynn. “When you get out of here, if you ever tell anyone we will kill your family and kill you,” McMynn testified he was told.
The Trial is expected to last at least a month in the B.C. Supreme Court.

New York - Lindsay Lohan recreates Marilyn Monroe’s famous and very revealing “Last Sitting” photographs for the new issue of New York Magazine, TMZ reported Monday.
Wearing not much more than some diamonds some thin fabric, Lohan hit the same poses Monroe did 46 years ago
No stranger to scandal herself, the thrice-rehabbed Lohan calls Monroe’s suicide “tragic” and remarks to the mag, “You know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else.”
When asked if she’s referring to Heath Ledger she says, “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.”
She is adamant, however, that she will not meet a similar fate, saying, “…I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
The original photo shoot for Marilyn Monroe called “The Last Sitting” was shot in 1962 by photographer Bert Stern. Unfortunately, the shoot was the last for the iconic Monroe who was found dead of an overdose six weeks later.
