Hollywood (EON) - Kate Walsh was in front of millions starring in the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off named Private Practice as it made its debut on Wednesday night on ABC.
Private Practice focuses around the doctor character of Kate Walsh. It follows her in her character role of Addison Forbes Montgomery. She has travelled from the set of Grey’s Anatomy in Seattle to Santa Monica where she will be working with new co-stars Taye Diggs, and Audra McDonald.
Walsh stated that “The pressure is eclipsed by the fact that we are so budy. I’m just kind of constantly focused on the next thing in front of me. I’m thinking more about my 5:30 a.m. call time and all of my medical scenes.”
The show made its debut Wednesday night much to the delight of fans of Grey’s Anatomy which will have its own debut on Thursday night on ABC.
The cast for Private Practice is made up of Tim Daly, Amy Brenneman, Paul Adelstein, Chris Lowell, KaDee Strickland, as well as others.
The cast knew where it was going and it appears that ABC has another hit on their hands as they may have a Grey’s Anatomy clone to garner up ratings on Wednesday nights every week this season!
Boston (EON) - ABC has been pushing the new show Dirty Sexy Money quite a bit leading up to its debut on Wednesday night which according to many viewers may be a flop.
The ABC soap opera was set up to be more of a rich version of Desperate Housewives than anything else and that was clear from the moment the show began its airing.
The cast of Dirty Sexy Money is made up of Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland, William Baldwin, and others.
The show was created by Craig Wright and unfortunately thus far seems to be failing in the eyes of critics and viewers. One viewer from Boston MA stated that “I just did not understand where the comedy was and when the show was going to get serious.”
It appears that ABC may have had a hit and miss night as they got a hit on their hands with Private Practice, but may end up missing out and squandering the follow-up to it as Dirty Sexy Money struggles to find its niche audience.
Los Angeles (EON) - Kanye West and 50 Cent got their collective tails handed to them by the country legend Reba McEntire as her new album “Reba Duets” stormed to the top of U.S. pop album charts.
The pop album charts were published on Wednesday and revealed that Reba managed to take the top spot bumping Kanye West off of it. Kanye West and 50 Cent both had highly notable releases which were publicized to a great extent due to a fued between the two of them.
The deal was that if Kanye West and his “Graduation” album beat the 50 Cent “Curtis” album, that 50 Cent would never again make another solo album and would retire.
So what exactly was the stipulation if Reba McEntire came in one week after they released and managed to destroy both of them with amazing sales?
The Kanye West album fell to number 2 selling 226,000 copies while the 50 Cent album fell to 3 with 143,000 copies sold.
The new Kenny Chesney album “Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates” fell to number 5 selling 112,000 copies.

The script for Justice League of America is being written by Kieran and Michele Mulroney. it is being directed by George Miller and the producer set is Joel Silver.
The Justice League of America film could lead to a spin-off if it is successful enough of a full out Wonder Woman movie which would also star Biel. It seems that the movie which features the likes of Batman, Superman, Aquaman, the Flash, and Wonder Woman may be moving along faster than many think.

A survey was conducted by the University of New Hampshire as well as WMUR and CNN. They found that the support of Romney has dropped 10 percentage points since July. He is now at 23 percent which gives him a small lead over Giuliani.
Rudy Giuliani only trails Romney by 1 point as his support grew to 22 percent from 18 percent in the state back in July.
The winner of the 2000 New Hampshire primary and current candidate John McCain is in 3rd place at 17 percent. He has gained 6 points since July.
The survey was of 324 likely voters and was taken in September between the dates of the 17tha nd the 24th.
Sampling error of plus or minus 5.4 percentage points must also be factored in.

This means that in New Hampshire at least, the race is up for anyone to win, whether it be Giuliani, Romney, or someone else.
Washington (EON) - The Senate has voted to designate the elite Revolutionary Guard in Iran as a terrorist organization and wants President Bush to make this clear to the world.
The vote was 76-22 in favor of giving the label of a terrorist group to the elite Revolutionary Guard in Iran. This organization has killed U.S. forces in Iraq and continues to do nothing but bad.
Senator Hillary Clinton voted for the amendmen which has passed. This is a sign of relations becoming poorer and poorer at an alarming rate between Iran and the United States as tensions continue to build and boil over.
Senators Barack Obama and John McCain missed the vote. It was sponsored by Republican John Kyl of Arizona as well as Democrat Joseph Liberman.
There has been no formal announcement yet from President Bush on the vote nor has there been any hint that he will abide by this ruling and give the Iran Revolutionary Guard a label as a terrorist group.
if he does so it would mean that the boiling point between the two countries is long passed.
Boston (EON) - Fox News host Bill O’Reilly has stated that his comments in his review of the Harlem restaurant Sylvia’s were taken out of context and were not racist.
O’Reilly had a radio show on September 19th and stated that he took civil rights leader Al Sharpton to the restaurant named Sylvia’s in Harlem. He stated that he “couldn’t get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s Restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it’s run by blacks, primarily black patronship.”
That final comment was the one which the world is now honing in on and is being seen as veing very racist. He continued by talking about the famed restuarant and saying “It was the same, and tha’s really what this society’s all about now here in the U.S.A. There’s no difference.”
He also spoke later in the day with Fox analyst Juan Williams and stated “There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming M@#her F@#ker, i want more iced tea! It was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense that people were sitting there and they were ordering and just having fun.”
O’Reilly has been taking a beating because of the remarks but has defended himself as he spoke on his television show on Fox News stating “Anybody who listened to it…would, I think, have appreciated the discussion for being an exposition of why people are afraid not only of blacks but of everybody they don’t know.”
He stated he was simply trying to put “reassure whites.”
Boston (EON) - The New England Journal of Medicine has an article in it which states that the mercury-based additive thimerosal is safe in vaccines and does not harm.
Dr. Anne Schuchat stated that “These are very reassuring findings.” She is the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunizations.
The additive was attempted to be linked to infants’ exposure to the additive and how it negatively impacted IQ levels, language, memory, etc.
Over 1,000 children aged 7 to 10 were looked at in the study with various levels of exposure to thimerosal in infancy.
They found that there was little difference between the kids who had low exposure to the additive thimerosal and those who had high exposure.
This means that in the end all of the thoughts and links can be put to rest as the additive has no negative impact at all on children in any way.
